Bogus caller... Wivenhoe
This is from the Essex Watch Adminstrator, Eastern Division.
At approximately 3.30 pm 1st November a male tried to enter the home of an elderly female in Lammas Way, Wivenhoe posing as a Waterboard official. The male was described as white, dark hair, approx 40 yrs with a local accent. He was wearing a blue anorak. No ID was shown.
There was a second male seen at the side of the house but no description was given.
Luckily the lady was very on the ball and refused entry.
Also,
A possible suspect in a new black open backed vehicle was observed near the Co-op Wivenhoe. This vehicle has since been seen in the Millfields area and again near the Garage opposite the Co-op.
