Stow Maries
Between 1700 on 12 January and 0800 on 13 January, unknown suspects broke the locks and taps off red diesel tanks at a property on Lower Burnham Road and stole diesel to the value of £50. Information to Pc Tracy Box.
Wickham Bishops
Between 1600 on 15 January and 1150 on 16 January, unknown suspect broke a double glazed window at a property in Grange Road, causing £150 damage. Information to Maldon Police Station.
Latchingdon
Between 1800 on 17 January and 1350 on 18 January, an unknown suspect gained entry to a rear garden shed in Maldon Road and stole gardening equipment, including chainsaws and a hedge trimmer, valued around £500. Information to Pc Michael Bond.
Maldon
Between 1400 and 1600 on 14 January, unknown suspect stole two Falcon car tyres from the front garden of a property in Cross Road, with a value of £70. Information to Pc Yasmina Sakauloo
Between 1200 and 1215 on 16 January, a purse was stolen from a handbag resting on a child’s buggy in the High Street. The purse contained cards and cash of about £50. Information to Pc Sam Pateman.
Between 1800 on 16 January and 0325 on 17 January, the rear window of First Choice Travel, in the High Street, was smashed, causing damage estimated at £140. Information to Pc Lea Keene.
Heybridge
At 1215 on 15 January, a woman used the ATM at Tescos, Heybridge. She took her card, but forgot to take the £200 cash. When she realised, the money had gone. Information to Maldon Police Station.
Between 9 January and 1130 on 12 January, a stone statue was stolen from a front garden in Harvest way. The statue is 18” high and is a figure of St Francis of Assissi. Information to Maldon Police Station.
There was an attempted boat theft in Heybridge Basin at 0500 on 17 January. Suspects cut the rope between boat and riverside but were disturbed by a boatyard employee. Information to Maldon Police Station.
Burnham on Crouch
During the night of 15/16 January persons unknown took a white stone ornamental pot from outside a property in Maldon Road and smashed it to pieces, leaving the remains on the other side of the road. Ornament is valued at £150. Information to Southminster Police Station.
Between 0115 and 0130, suspects attempted to gain entry to the Welcome Sailor, Station Road, by forcing the cellar doors. No entry was gained but the doors were damaged. Information to Southminster Police Station.
Between 2330 on 16 January and 0630 on 17 January, persons unknown pushed a white Piaggio 3 wheeler car over, blocking the path. The police were able to right the car. Information to Southminster Police Station.
