Woodham Mortimer
Between 1700 on 9 February and 0900 on 10 February, a farm building at Southend Road was broken into and some tools, a hand made trailer and a red Honda Foreman quad bike was stolen. Value of goods estimated at £4000+. Information to Pc Mick Bond.
Burnham on Crouch
Between1800 on 6 February and 1800 on 8 February, a bicycle was stolen from a property in New Road. The bicycle – a purple ladies mountain bike with a basket on the front, was secured to the front garden fence. Information to Southminster Police Station.
Between 1900 on 12 February and 1400 on 13 February, the front index was stolen from a blue Peugeot 206. The theft could have occurred between Colchester and Southminster Road, Burnham. Information to Southminster Police Station.
Heybridge
Between 1645 on 10 February and 0830 on 11 February, at The Causeway, entry was forced to a secure silver Ford Focus by smashing both front and rear windows. Tools and electrical equipment, including a portable CCTV monitor, a sat nav system and a mobile phone, valued at £1400, were stolen. Information to Maldon Police Station.
Between 1300 on 14 February and 0945 on 15 February, a property in Goldhanger Road was broken into, via the rear door. There was a messy search made and a computer, black and white TV and some bottles of alcohol were stolen. Information to Dc Patrick Snape.
At Samian Close, overnight on 11/12 February, 5 chrome solar lights were stolen from a front garden. Information to Maldon Police Station.
Southminster
At Queen Street, between 1200 on 10 February and 1200 on 12 February, the lock was cut of a large metal container and a jemmy was used to gain entry. 2 industrial strimmers, worth about £800 each, were taken. Information to Pc Neil Tremain.
Between 1830 on 13 February and 1010 on 14 February at Cherry Orchard, unknown suspects ripped off the offside skirting panel of a silver Citroen Saxo, also damaging the nearside rear wheel arch by scratching it. Information to Pc Lea Keene.
Maldon
At Fir Tree Walk, between 1500 on 9 February and 0900 on 12 February, a brick wall to a property was kicked down, causing £500 of damage. Information to Pc Robert Eveling.
Around 1340 on 14 February, at Morrisons, an elderly lady had her purse stolen. The purse was of brown suede and contained a NatWest debit card, small amount of cash. Information to Pc Richard Hamilton.
Also on 14 February, between 1015 and 1040, in the High Street, a purse was stolen from a lady, who noticed her purse was missing in The Card and Gift Shop. She had also been in “Best Wishes” card shop and Marks and Spencer and stopped to buy a Big Issue. The purse contained cash and cards with an estimated value of £160. Information to Pc Neil Tremain.
At Mill Road between 1030 on 14 February and 1200 on 15 February, entry was gained to a flat by removing a window at the rear of the property. Jewellery, money and a sat nav were taken, along with some cash. Information to Dc Matthew Keeble.
At around 2205 on 14 February, persons unknown smashed the door window of Stead and Simpsons in the High Street. Information to Maldon Police Station.
Around 2345 on 15 February, in Queen Street, the front and back windows of a black Renault Clio were smashed and the bodywork was dented. Information to Maldon Police Station.
Overnight on 14/15 February, in Park Road, the near side wing mirror was smashed on a silver Renault Megane Scenic. Information to Maldon Police Station.
Tillingham
Between 1000 on 13 February and 0900 on 14 February, a side door at the Pavillion, Vicarage Lane, was damaged. Holes were drilled in the door and cigarettes were pushed through the holes. The kitchen windows were also scratched. Damage estimated at £200. Information to Pc Lea Keene.

On 10 February at 1830, a group of 3-4 youths went into The Co-op at Fiveways and took 6-7 packs of cigarettes that were on the counter. Information to Pc Ovais Choudry.
