Burnham on Crouch

Between 2200 on 19 March and 0945 on 20 March a garage in Glebe Way was broken into and a Bosch Garden Cordless Strimmer was stolen. The garage was not secure. Information to Pc Sam Pateman.

Between 1600 on 19 march and 0900 on 20 march, a black Vauxhall Zafira in Cedar Grove was broken into and a sat nav, DVD player and 2 screens were stolen. Information to Pc Jackie Thorogood.


Mayland

Between midnight on 15 March and 1000 on 18 March, the Harlow Blackwater Sailing Club at North Drive was broken into. Entry was gained through a front kitchen window. £50 in cash and a set of keys were stolen. Information to Pc Sam Pateman.


Heybridge

Between 1200 on 6 December 2008 and 2000 on 9 March 2009, at a flat in Wagtail Drive, the front door was forced to gain entry and a messy search made. A calculator, playstation 2 plus games, TV, clothing and electricity account card was stolen. Information to Dc Steven Bennett.

Between midnight on 15 March and midnight on 17 March, in Wagtail Drive, all four hub caps from a silver Vauxhall Corsa were stolen. Information to Pc James Cunningham.

About 1945 on 22 March, in the Co-op, Wood Road, a male went into the shop to buy tobacco papers. When the till was opened, he leaned over the counter and stole about £160 cash from the till. The man is described as dark European, aged about 28-35, between 5’6” and 5’8” tall, with spiky brown hair, wearing a dark blue long sleeved T shirt, blue jogging bottoms and white trainers. Between 15 and 21 March at Heybridge Basin, a white Johnson 15HP 2 stroke engine was stolen from a vessel. The boat was broken into and a stanless steel garden barbeque, and boat hooks and buttons were stolen.

Between 1100 on 19 March and 1100 on 21 March, at Fullbridge Quay, the rear windscreen of a blue Nissan Micra was smashed with a brick. Information to Pc Dean Stratton.


Great Totham

Between 1130 and 1500 on 21 March, at Foster Road, two hanging baskets from outside a property were stolen. Information to Pc Dean Stratton.



Maldon


Between 1330 and 2200 on 21 March in Wallace Binder Close, a silver Ford Mondeo car was stolen. Information to Pc Michael Bond.

Between 0900 and 1600 on 19 March at Tescos, Fullbridge, a purse was stolen from a handbag. The purse/wallet was small and black and contained £10 in cash and some vouchers.

During the night of 19 March, at Roundbush Farm, Burnham Road, Mundon, the following items were stolen after an electric fence was disconnected:
· 8’x10’ wooden garden shed
· animal feed and drinking trays
· 200 metal posts

About 2240 on 19 March at a house in Fitches Crescent, an accelerant, believed to be petrol, was poured through the letterbox and onto the wooden front door. The accelerant was then set on fire, causing smoke and fire damage. Information to Pc Matthew Keeble.
