Information Update 29.03.09

Burnham on Crouch

Between 1100 on 22 March and 1100 on 24 March, at Glebe Way, a silver Fiat Ducato Motor Caravan was broken into and a pedal cycle - Windsor Powerbike Silver - and a metallic dark blue electric bike were stolen. Information to Pc Tracy Box.


Bradwell on Sea

Between 1600 on 21 March and 1200 on 26 March, at Bradwell Marina, an outboard motor – Marine 6hp Twin cylinder 2 stroke – was stolen from a moored boat. Information to Maldon Police Station.


Southminster

Between 1700 on 23 March and 1000 on 24 March at a property in Kings Croft, a plastic flowerpot containing rose plants was stolen. The pot is approx 1 metre square and was in the front garden. Information to Southminster Police Station.

Between 2300 and 2315 on 23 March, a door to a shop in the High Street was damaged when the door glass was broken. The frame was also damaged. Information to Southminster Police Station.


Heybridge

Overnight on 28 March at Stock Chase Industrial Unit, entry was forced by breaking the padlock off the gate into the yard and an Ivor Williams tipping trailer – with “High Speed Trailers” on the side was stolen. Information to Maldon Police Station.


Purleigh

Around 0830 on 24 March Hackmans Lane, Purleigh, thieves gained entry to an insecure shed and stole various tools and a red quad bike. They also removed a black Patterdale Terrier dog called Molly from the yard. Any information to Pc Sam Pateman.


Maldon

Between 20000 on 25 March and 0530 on 26 March, the office of Stevensons buses at the Quay Industrial estate was broken into. Entry was gained by crowbarring the door and the internal door. A step ladder had been laid across the fence. Some cash was taken from a tray. Information to Pc James Barnacle.

Between 1730 on 15 March and 1700 on 18 March, a grey Ford Escort, with personal number plate, and with an alternative number plate in the vehicle, was stolen from a property in Cherry Garden Road. Information to Maldon Police Station.

Between 2200 on 25 March and 0810 on 26 March at Linford Mews, a black Audi A4 was broken into and a sat nav, together with credit and debit cards, were stolen. Information to Maldon Police Station.

Reported at 0830 on 26 March, a silver VW Passat in Falcon Fields was broken into and a sat nav and Rayban sunglasses were stolen. Information to Maldon Police Station.

Between 1000 on 21 March and 1830 on 28 March a sat nav was stolen from a car in Halston Place. Information to Maldon Police Station.

Overnight on 25/26 March at Minster Way, a Toyota car was broken into and a sat nav and fuel cards were taken. Information to Pc Neil Tremain.

Between 1830 on 27 March and 0700 on 28 March, a plant pot which was hanging outside below the window of a property was stolen. Information to Maldon Police Station.

Between 1800 on 22 March and 0715 on 23 March, in Market Hill, the front nearside window of a blue Ford Mondeo was broken when a stone was thrown. Information to Maldon Police Station.


Woodham Walter

Between 2345 and 2350 on 27 March at Queen Victoria Public House thieves broke into a vehicle by smashing a window and stole a sat nav. Information to Pc Ovais Choudry.
